The Platform for Training Employment (PLATZ) promotes the idea that giving a job to people with social disadvantages is not enough. It is equally important to reduce barriers linked to their disadvantage and to provide professional psychosocial support. After long-term efforts and relationship-building with representatives of public administration, it succeeded in achieving the adoption of a law on work integration social enterprises. The Platform has since become a key partner in putting integration job positions into practice. At the start of the project, the Platform needed to intensify cooperation with public authorities and engage relevant stakeholders with the concept of training employment. The main goal was to establish legislation clearly describing the model of training employment based on the methodology provided by PLATZ, and to introduce integration jobs as a new tool of active employment policy.
