What happens when a once-vibrant network loses its drive? Szabad Terek faced this challenge head-on. A major change in leadership brought new opportunities for growth. By redefining its mission, and forging stronger ties with local authorities, the network has started increasing its impact on strengthening the position of cultural and community spaces across Hungary. The Stronger Roots program helped the network focus on increasing member engagement, building sustainable internal structures, and facilitating meaningful dialogue between civil society and public institutions.
