The case study follows the process of building relations between the Association of Organizations Working in Penal Affairs and the General Directorate of the Prison Service in the Czech Republic. A successful project brought up an importan lesson learnt: “If you want to improve relations with key partners, you have to address not only the changes you want to see from the partner, but also the changes you want to make on your side.”
