Almost half of Czech non-profit organisations do not have the resources for adequate hardware. Outdated computers and other equipment hinder organisations from using the full potential of modern technologies and their work becomes expensive and inefficient. Senior managers often lack knowledge and experience in digitalization and using the potential of technology. This exposes organisations to security risks and slows down the development of the sector as a whole. These are some of the results of a survey on the state of digitalization and IT in Czech non-profits, which was conducted in the spring of 2023 by the VIA Association in cooperation with the OSF Foundation. The questionnaire was completed by 634 non-profit and contributory organisations from all over the Czech Republic.
