The Stronger Roots consortium has announced an open Call for Proposals: Matching Grants for Crowdfunding Campaigns targeted at civil society organizations from Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary who comply with and protect, promote or raise awareness of EU values and the principles of fundamental rights, democracy, and the rule of law. The Call has been supported by the European Union from the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme. The deadline for applications has been set on May 28, 2024 at 13:00.

The aim of this Call for proposals is to support crowdfunding campaigns as one of the tools that can be used to build strong communities of supporters. We will support the selected applicants with a financial grant to match their total sum gained through a crowdfunding campaign, if at least 80% of the target amount has been reached. Over the 12 months of the project, we will also provide a capacity building program to selected applicants related to crowdfunding, which will help them to plan and implement their crowdfunding campaigns.

The application and selection process in this Call will be carried out separately in the Czech Republic by Open Society Fund Prague, in Slovakia by Open Society Foundation Bratislava and in Hungary by the NIOK Foundation. For details on who and how can apply, please check the related webpage
