The project aims to foster cooperation on the local level between civil society organizations (CSOs) and public bodies to improve the prevention and response to hate crimes. The project will develop and implement a model program in four cities (Ajka, Budapest, Miskolc, Pécs), as well as tools (guidelines for police, guidelines for CSOs, training manual) that can be used in other localities as well. The project will put hate crimes on the local policy agenda; increase the knowledge and skills of relevant stakeholders; and create a vibrant network of diverse actors committed to tackling hate crimes.
